On November 8th 2018, myself  ( Stuart Cooper ) and my Nephew Alex Davies will set off from Hanoi on bicycles for an epic 2000 kilometre ride down the length of Vietnam to Ho Chi Minh City. The cycling trip will be entirely unsupported and we will not be taking any camping equipment and intend to stay in guest houses, hotels or even local family homes along the way.

The route we intend to take is along the scenic HCMC highway which runs north to south through some of the most breathtaking scenery & jungle of Vietnam and we have planned for 24 days of cycling to complete the trip.

Why are we doing this? - We are both keen cyclists and want to challenge ourselves by doing something completely different to what we are used to. We also want to raise some money for a local charity - St Catherine's Hospice, which looks after and cares for people with serious illness such as cancer, heart failure ,motor neurone disease & Parkinson's disease. Myself & Alex would like to ask you to donate as much as you can afford

All donations will go to St Catherine's Hospice.

Over the next two Months leading up to the trip we will be posting regular updates on our planning, equipment & fund raising so far. During the cycling tour we will publish regular update blogs of our progress, route, photos and experiences of this exciting adventure.
